Our History
CHS Broadbent is a grain supply chain company with a proud history servicing agricultural
producers in Victoria and Eastern Australia for over 60 years.
The business was established in 1952 by Ned Broadbent as a firewood freight business and later, joined by his son’s Ron and Keith. This small but industrious venture soon grew to supplying bagged grain and hay to stockfeed mills using the first bulk trailers in the area. Ownership of the business then passed down to Ron’s sons, Stephen and Michael Broadbent.
