CHS Broadbent has a long and successful history in bulk grain transport. The business was established in the 1950′s under the trading name of E.V Broadbent & Sons. At the time the primary business trade was the transportation of wool, grass hay and bagged grain.
In 1985 the company underwent a name change to R.V Broadbent & Sons. The company was also known as Blue Ribbon Grain and specialised in the transportation of grain, fertilizer and other bulk commodities in country Victoria as well as in other Australian states.
As the business expanded, in 2012 R.V Broadbent & Sons was encompassed under the parent company Broadbent Grain. Broadbent Grain now manages a large transport fleet in both Victoria and Queensland comprising of Road Train Combinations, B/Double combinations, Skel Container and single forms of transportation. Broadbent Grain has since had a name change to CHS Broadbent Pty Ltd.
CHS Broadbent freight operations are based in Ballarat and Toowoomba. CHS Broadbent specialises in delivering grain, fertilizer and other bulk commodities within Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
